From Belly to Arms Doula Services

Birth is a profound and personal experience. Our doula services are designed to support you with education, advocacy, and steady presence as you prepare for labor, birth, and the early postpartum period.

We offer non medical, evidence informed support that centers your autonomy, values, and lived experience. Our role is to walk alongside you, helping you feel informed, prepared, and supported in making decisions that align with your needs.

What a Doula Is

A doula is a trained, non clinical support person who provides emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and after birth. Doulas do not replace medical providers and do not offer medical care or advice.

Our support complements your healthcare team by focusing on comfort, communication, and informed decision making.

Scope of Practice

Our doula services are non medical. We do not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. All medical decisions remain between you and your licensed healthcare provider. Our role is to support understanding, communication, and autonomy throughout your experience.

Who This Is For

Doula services are supportive for
• First time parents
• Families seeking informed, low intervention births
• Those navigating medical systems and decision making
• Parents desiring emotional and advocacy support
• Anyone wanting a calmer, more supported birth experience

Services

Birth Support

Doula support includes prenatal education and birth preparation, birth plan creation, and guidance with informed consent and informed refusal language. Emotional support, grounding techniques, and physical comfort measures are provided throughout labor, along with continuous labor and birth support. Advocacy and communication support with your care team and early postpartum check in and integration support are also included.

Birth Plan and Consultation Support

We offer dedicated birth plan consultations for clients who want clarity and confidence going into labor. These sessions focus on understanding common interventions, preparing provider facing language, and identifying what matters most to you during birth.

This service is especially helpful if you feel pressured around induction or cesarean, desire a low intervention birth, or want to feel more informed and empowered.

Postpartum Support

Postpartum care focuses on emotional support, processing the birth experience, and practical guidance during the early adjustment period. Support is gentle, client led, and responsive to your needs.
